Being afraid to speak in front of a group of people is something which is very common. If you want the reduce the level of stress and fear you have to be prepared because most of the uncertainties come from lack of preparation. We all know that being anxious is something normal and natural this does not mean that you can not look for remedies to reduce the symptoms. There are treatments which help you reduce stress when you have to make a presentation. If you want to be successful all you have to do is be confident, the fear will not go away but you will get by much easier and you will not get slowed down by it.

You should determine the message you want to send before you write the whole speech. The whole presentation should have at its roots the main idea. Make sure that your arguments are logic and that the bond one with the other.

If you have a problem remembering the presentation you should make a ppt presentation or some information cards. They will help if you get nervous and forget something. This also increases the level of confidence.

To get an idea on how you sound you should ask your family or a friend to hear you out. This will help you a lot because you will get an opinion on how you sound and also get some useful advice. Another idea is to practice you presentation in front of a mirror, this way you will practice your posture and gain confidence.
